More than a bar. More than a kitchen.
Mozwell Claremont is where good drinks meet good people.
A little loud. A little moody. Always welcoming.
We’re not trying to be the trendiest spot on the block.
We’re just doing what we do—really well.
-
We met next door—literally. Ryan was behind the bar at Eureka. Edwin was a regular.
One drink turned into a lot of conversations. Ideas started flowing. Two guys. Different worlds. One shared vision.
Ryan ran restaurants. Edwin built brands.
What started as casual bar talk became something real—a space you’d want to discover, but still call your spot
Mozwell Claremont was built from the ground up—literally. Countless late nights, design sketches, and the kind of support that only comes from family and friends who believe in you.
No playbook. Just heart, hustle, and a little help from home.
Right around the corner from where it all started.
-
Keep it simple.
Lead with intention.
Make people feel something—even if they can’t explain it.
At Mozwell, we’re not trying to be the hottest new spot. We’re here to create something lasting. Thoughtful cocktails. Scratch-made comfort food with a Latin point of view—part soul, part pub, always bold.
Cuban sandwiches. Puerto Rican-inspired empanadas. Peruvian pasta. Latin flavors reimagined for the modern table.
It’s about the details. The people. The rhythm of a good night.
No ego. No gimmicks. Just a place you actually want to be.
Meet the Team

Edwin Guembes
Co-Founder / Brand & Business Development
Edwin was a regular at Ryan’s bar. Now they run one together.
With a background in branding and digital strategy, he leads the creative direction behind Mozwell—from the name and interior to the marketing and guest experience. His focus is always on the why, making sure everything feels intentional and well-executed.
Edwin brings the vision, voice, and business mind to the table. If it looks good, sounds good, or hits online, odds are he had something to do with it.

Ryan Storath
Co-Founder / Operations Director
Ryan met Edwin behind the bar at Eureka—literally.
He’s worked every corner of the hospitality world and now leads the operations, staff, and service at Mozwell. From daily flow to late-night pacing, he’s the reason it all feels smooth.
Hospitality isn’t just what he does—it’s who he is. Ryan’s all about creating a space that feels good the second you walk in. If the lights are low and the vibe’s right, he probably set it up that way.

Juan Torres
Executive Chef / Kitchen Manager
Juan runs the kitchen with precision and soul.
His culinary background blends tradition and creativity, bringing scratch-made, Latin-inspired comfort food to life.
As kitchen manager, he leads the team with calm energy, flavor-forward thinking, and a sharp eye for detail. He’s not chasing trends—he’s building flavor. And every plate that hits the pass speaks for itself.
Made from Scratch. Poured with Purpose.
We don’t cut corners—everything we serve is built from the ground up.
From house-made aiolis to fresh-squeezed juice behind the bar, what you taste is what we actually made.
Our kitchen takes its cue from Latin comfort food—Puerto Rican, Peruvian, Cuban—flavors that feel familiar, but hit different.
Behind the bar, we keep things thoughtful: well-balanced drinks, bold ideas, and no filler.
Scratch-made, small-batch, and served with real energy.
Built with Love. Backed by Locals.
Mozwell is built on more than food and drinks—it’s built on people.
We partner with local artists, DJs, chefs, nonprofits, and community organizers to bring new energy into the space.
From vinyl takeovers to Wednesday jazz, pop-up kitchens to fundraisers, we open our doors for what matters.
This isn’t just about events.
It’s about connection—with culture, with the city, and with each other.
Why Mozwell?
Mozwell started as a creative studio—an idea built on storytelling, design, and helping brands find their voice.
When it came time to name the restaurant, we didn’t need to look far.
The name already stood for something: intention, creativity, and things done well.
Mozwell Claremont became the next chapter.
Still rooted in that same spirit—but this time, through food, drinks, and space.
Different medium. Same mission.
